Space Technologies
2017 Datel opened the Space Domain and in cooperation with the European Space Agency started to develop remote monitoring services based on satellite data. In 2018, we launched Sille.Space - an international Early Warning System for infrastructure monitoring, available worldwide. With a new service, Illegal Construction Detector, we are helping local governments fight against illegal construction activities.
Data from 2016 on a millimeter scale. Updates every 6-12 days depending on the location of the infrastructure.
We help to:
monitor whether the construction activity affects the surrounding buildings
identify buildings that should be inspected more closely to prevent disasters
to understand which levelling benshmarks should be measured over
detect illegal constructions

This spring, Datel and the Tallinn City Planning Authority signed a contract for the development, maintenance, and hosting of a new version of the Tallinn Planning Register. The agreement is valid until 2 April 2030 and covers both a comprehensive system update and ongoing user support.
Tallinn’s current planning register has reached the end of its technological life cycle. System development has become increasingly complex and costly, user expectations regarding the interface have evolved, and the city aims to accelerate the planning process significantly.

In the second half of April, the Estonian Land and Spatial Development Board adopted a new generation of The Estonian Address Data system and National Register of Place Names, the first part of which was the opening of a new register of place names for public use. The National Register of Place Names is a national register, which collects and registers information about Estonian place names. It processes, stores and makes place names available to users.
The Place Names register registers all official place names – including streets, roads, forests, bodies of water, islands, mountains, etc. In addition, unofficial place names are also recorded.
