Datel to showcase capabilities at the Supply Security & Defence Expo (SSD2026)

SSD Expo 2026 Datel A31

On 10–11 June, Datel will showcase its latest technological capabilities at the Supply Security & Defence Expo (SSD2026). This major international event focuses on strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure, enhancing civil defence, and boosting technological readiness in an increasingly uncertain global climate.

On Thursday at 14:00, Aimo Kõva, Datel’s Software Business Development Manager, will deliver a presentation on the application of civil satellites within the defence sector. He will highlight Datel’s expertise in object identification via remote sensing (using satellite data and orthophotos). As well as the development of offline maps and other mission-critical tools.

This year, Datel’s exhibition stand will also feature specialist hardware for mission-critical operations. In partnership with Durabook, Datel will display a range of rugged laptops and tablets designed to withstand shocks, drops, vibrations, dust, water, and extreme environmental conditions.

The event will be held at the Estonian Fairs Exhibition Centre.

With 35 years of experience, the Datel Software team is renowned for its excellence in Geo-Informatics. Notable projects include the Estonian Land Management System, the National Urban Planning System, and a 3D Digital Twin for the national e-construction platform.

In 2017, Datel established its Space Domain and began developing remote monitoring services. This was followed in 2018 by the launch of Sille.Space—an Early Warning System for infrastructure monitoring. More recently, in 2025, we launched Catanova, a cutting-edge tool designed to detect unauthorised buildings.
