5th Conference of Partnerships between German and African Municipalities
AS Datel as a member of the Estonian ICT Cluster had the opportunity to participate in the 5th Conference of Partnerships between German and African Municipalities in Dresden from 20 to 22 September 2022.
At the geographic information systems (GIS) workshop Aimo Kõva from AS Datel introduced the fields where geodata could be used and beneficial – cadastre, utilities, statistics, tourism, disaster prevention, etc. The workshop was carried out in cooperation with Patrick Bühler from geoinformation department in Sindelfingen municipality, Germany.
Value.Space- an Estonian space technology startup that grew out of AS Datel's space domain
As an independent company, Value Space started operations in June 2022. AS Datel is involved in the company as an investor.
Value. Space uses the same technology as Sille. Space, Value. Space has chosen the UK as its base for global expansion.

Estonian space industry delegation trip to Norway
Oliver Stimmer, AS Datel Head of Space Domain, participated Estonian space industry delegation study trip to Norway. The purpose of the visit was to hear about the developments in the Norwegian space industry, exchange experience, expertise, and knowledge on the space industry in each country, and boost cooperation.
Urban Brilliance exhibition in Helsingborg
Tallinn is one of the six most innovative cities in Europe, which will showcase its solutions for sustainable development in the Urban Brilliance exhibition. We are honored to be among the 10 companies presenting their innovative solutions in the City of Tallinn pavilion, in Helsingborg from 30 May to 2 June. We will be explaining how cities can benefit from the use of satellite data.
